Castro Street Cam Presented by Cliff’s Variety with Support from Orphan Andy’s

YOU CAN HELP! Please consider helping us meet expenses to continue the Castro Street Cam by making a tax deductible contribution to the project’s nonprofit fiscal sponsor: Use The News Foundation: www.usethenews.org.

We are grateful for your support in helping to keep this important service available.

The Castro Street Cam is produced by the San Francisco Bay Times as an educational service in celebration of the Pride flag at Harvey Milk Plaza and other points of interest such as the Rainbow Crosswalks. A goal of the Castro Street Cam is to help those who are isolated for any reason to be able to see the vibrant Castro neighborhood and connect with it from anywhere in the world. Visit the cams 24/7 to see what is going on, check the weather and traffic, or just to enjoy the views. Viewers can virtually experience the landscape up and down Castro Street, at Harvey Milk Plaza, and at Jane Warner Plaza.

The Castro Street Cam is not a security cam system and has no such affiliation. Aside from special events such as the annual Pink Triangle display on Twin Peaks for Pride, the four cameras of the Castro Street Cam do not zoom or turn and they are carefully positioned. Occasionally the cameras may go offline, and we apologize for the inconvenience. The cameras are rebooted once daily. If you have questions, email publisher@sfbaytimes.com

Thanks to viewers who have reached out from other states, nations, and from throughout the Bay Area to let us know that viewing the Castro Street Cam is important to them!
