The 2026 Alice B. Toklas LGBTQ Democratic Club Pride Breakfast took place on Sunday morning, June 28, bringing together local, state, and national political figures for the country’s largest political Pride event. Held in the Hyatt Embarcadero Ballroom in San Francisco, the long-running annual fundraiser kicked off with doors opening at 8 am as attendees gathered over mimosas to support the club’s year-round advocacy for queer rights and representation.
Led by Co-Chairs Martin Rawlings-Fein and Jane Natoli, the high-profile breakfast served as a major platform for Democratic candidates ahead of the upcoming elections, featuring key organizational backing and sponsorships from prominent leaders including U.S. Senator Alex Padilla and City Attorney David Chiu. With a focus on defending LGBTQ+ rights against national conservative policies, the gathering reestablished Alice’s legacy as a cornerstone of queer political mobilization in the Bay Area.
