Host and emcee Gary Virginia presented the annual Easter Party & Bonnet Contest at 440 Castro on April 5, 2026. There was a massive basket of chocolates for the Easter Trivia Contest, and the Easter Parade with Bonnet Contest had enthusiastic contestants strutting their spring looks. That was even easier to do after the many drink specials, such as $5 mimosas, $8 Bloody Mary’s, and $3 beers.
This event always provides some of the best views, via 440’s parklet, of busy Castro Street after the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Easter in the Park event. DJ/VJ Jim Hopkins was on the decks adding to the upbeat energy of the summery spring Sunday. http://www.the440.com/
