Author Mark Abramson discussed and read from his latest book, Fathers and Sons, at an event at Fabulosa Books on April 12, 2026. This 8th book in his Beach Reading series, as for the others, draws on local iconic figures, such as Sister Roma and San Francisco Bay Times columnist Donna Sachet, along with well-known locations in the Castro and other parts of the Bay Area. The book has been widely acclaimed as being a “sweet and sexy, a little bit scary, and sometimes laugh-out-loud funny tale.”
