    Strut 10th Anniversary Party

Marking a decade of integrated care and LGBTQ+ empowerment in the heart of the Castro, Strut celebrated its 10-year anniversary on June 21, 2026, with a community Tea Dance hosted by Honey Mahogany and Nikki Jizz. San Francisco Bay Times columnist Sister Dana Van Iquity and lead photographer Rink were among those who attended.

Since opening its doors at 470 Castro Street in 2016 under the stewardship of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, the health and wellness center has evolved into an indispensable refuge and social hub. The anniversary event paid tribute to a tradition of queer gathering while celebrating Strut’s milestone impact—from delivering crucial sexual health services, harm reduction support, and gender-affirming care to hosting vibrant art shows and social programming that foster connection across generations.

Over the past ten years, Strut has redefined community-centered healthcare in San Francisco by serving tens of thousands of clients and pioneering accessible prevention models, including broad rollout of PrEP, innovative Doxy PEP regimens, and the recent launch of an on-site full-service pharmacy. https://bit.ly/4h0rAeO
