Dr. Tim Seelig and Husband, Singer/Musician Bobby Jo Valentine, Go Skydiving

Dr. Tim Seelig, a columnist for the San Francisco Bay Times and the Conductor Laureate of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, in the summer of 2025 went skydiving with his husband, singer/musician Bobby Jo Valentine.

The video here shows this, along with a short interview they did just before the adventure. Dr. Seelig, as he has been sharing in his Bay Times column, has been checking off items from his bucket list as he heads into his 75th year in 2026. One of his popular TEDx talks mentions how he took a risk as a youth by diving from a tall platform into a pool.

He is still a risk taker, combating fears, and making adventurous leaps—this time with Bobby Jo at his side.
