Gypsy Love Treats Music as a Sacred Offering and Plans for New Dance Single Release in June

    By Kippy Marks—

Gypsy Love is what happens when intention becomes melody. Her voice doesn’t just fill a room—it softens it, warms it, and invites every person inside to breathe a little easier. She sings with the kind of presence that turns strangers into community, and community into family. In every performance, she practices the PMLE truth that love is not a feeling but a discipline, a choice made again and again with courage and compassion.

What sets Gypsy Love apart is her devotion to emotional stewardship. She treats music as a sacred offering, shaping each note with the tenderness of someone who understands how deeply people need to feel seen. Her artistry is a bridge—connecting cultures, identities, and generations through stories that shimmer with vulnerability and joy. Whether she is lifting spirits onstage or offering quiet encouragement offstage, she leads with a heart trained by empathy.

Gypsy Love reminds us that practicing love is not always gentle; sometimes it is bold, vibrant, and defiantly joyful. She embodies the PMLE belief that love grows stronger when shared, louder when sung, and more powerful when practiced with intention. By highlighting her as the 16th individual profiled in this column, we celebrate a woman whose voice heals, whose presence uplifts, and whose artistry makes love easier for all of us to practice.

Kippy Marks: How long have you been involved with the practicing of PMLE values in your work?

Gypsy Love: Love has always been my compass, but it wasn’t until 2008 that I fully aligned my career with that calling. After more than a decade in tech sales, I left the corporate world and founded Gypsy Love Productions—a space devoted to inspiring love and unity through astrology, music, and movement. It felt like coming home.

Kippy Marks: Who or what motivated you to become the community activist you are today?

Gypsy Love: For years, I thrived as a tech executive—hitting goals, winning awards, doing all the “right” things—but inside I felt disconnected, creatively stifled, and hungry for community. Everything shifted around 2007 when I joined the House of Garza, a San Francisco–based LGBTQ+ arts nonprofit founded by the late, beloved community leader Mama Garza (José Carlos Ascencio).

As a performer, I’ve always been drawn to uplifting, high-energy music that brings people together in the name of love. In the House of Garza, I met brilliant artists who were using their gifts to uplift the community and support causes like disaster relief and AIDS research.

That experience opened my heart. I realized I could use my own talents—as a seasoned astrologer, artist, and dancer—to spark connection, healing, and joy. So, I started Gypsy Love Productions in 2008 with a mission to inspire love and unity with astrology, music, and movement. My goal is to give back, build community, and help people reconnect with their creativity and inner peace.

Kippy Marks: How old were you when you made that decision?

Gypsy Love: I was right around 30—perfectly aligned with my Saturn return, of course!

Kippy Marks: What advice would you give to others on how to practice love on the daily?

Gypsy Love: Keep a beginner’s mind. Every person you meet—even someone you’ve known forever—is a universe unto themselves. When you look into someone’s eyes, try to see them as if you’re discovering
their vibration for the very first time. Remember that we’re all reflections of each other. There’s a bit of me in you, and a bit of you in me. And, the more you practice seeing people that way, the easier it becomes to lead with love. Practice makes love easy!

Kippy Marks: If you were granted two universal wishes, what would you wish for?

Gypsy Love: I actually wrote a song about this called “Wish”! But if I had to choose just two, they would be:

    – for the world to release all the fear that divides us;
    – that love becomes our guiding force, because love is always the answer.

Kippy Marks: Please share any current practices that our readers may find useful, and update us on what you are doing now.

Gypsy Love: One of the most powerful gifts you can give yourself is understanding your astrology chart. It’s your personal blueprint—a lifelong guide to your strengths, lessons, and purpose. And, just as important: move your body. Dance, stretch, laugh, or just breathe deeply. Any movement is a doorway to joy.

And, speaking of movement, my new dance single “Synchronicity” drops soon! I specialize in creating upbeat, heart-thumping anthems designed to lift spirits and move bodies. “Synchronicity” is no exception. It celebrates how deeply we’re all connected—to each other and to the universe. “Synchronicity” features 11 club-ready mixes by Billboard chart-toppers Leo Frappier, Dirty Disco, Paul Goodyear (SanFranDisko), and Tweaka Turner. It’s guaranteed to get you moving!

To welcome “Synchronicity” into the world, we’re throwing a big community celebration on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 6–9 pm at The Café (2369 Market Street, San Francisco), hosted by the First Lady of the Castro Donna Sachet and dance-party dynamo Suzan Revah—with community icon Gary Virginia emceeing the night.

You’ll get to enjoy the “Synchronicity” music video World Premiere and my debut live performance. DJ Sergio Fedasz will bring the feelgood vibes, along with go-gos, flagging, drink specials, tasty refreshments, giveaways, live-action photography by Dvpix.net, and a special appearance by San Francisco’s King of Strings Kippy Marks—you! I’d love for everyone who feels called to join us and be part of the magic!
