By Gary Virginia–
As the 50th anniversary of SF Pride approaches, Donna Sachet and I are making plans for a record turnout for our 22nd Annual Pride Brunch benefiting PRC. We recently announced that the June 27th event will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the world-renowned Fairmont San Francisco hotel atop Nob Hill.
The grandeur of this historic, luxury hotel coupled with its reputation for impeccable service promise a truly memorable experience for local and visiting attendees. Acclaimed by many to be their favorite event of Pride week, the three-hour affair affords the opportunity for guests to meet and hear personal remarks from the 2020 Pride Parade grand marshals.
Hallmarks of the Pride Brunch, which has raised $400,000 for PRC since 1998, include hosted premium vodka and bubbly bars, a delicious brunch buffet, live music by the Dixieland Dykes+3 band, a large silent auction and raffle, beautiful florals and rainbow decor, and annual surprises.
Donna and I are eager to learn who the honorees will be this year and expect a larger audience for this milestone 50th anniversary. We feel the elegant grand ballroom at this iconic property will be the ultimate way to celebrate our LGBTQI past, as well as our powerful present, and promising future.
Ticket sales start at $150 with several levels of VIP and sponsor opportunities offered with benefits. For more information, please contact me at 415-867-5004.
