A highlight of Pride Month in San Francisco was Runway of Pride at GLIDE Memorial Church on June 23, 2026. A tour de force by producer Antonio Contreras, the fashion-focused event featured supermodel Pat Cleveland in a couture gown by Naeem Khan (and Cleveland also beautifully sang and danced!), State Senator Scott Wiener sporting a regal Mariya Milovidova ensemble, former Mayor London Breed in a stunning custom Vassily Vein red sequined gown, transgender leader Honey Mahogany in a striking Nuvaa original, Sister Roma looking like a boss in blue complete with a Sister Roma umbrella, and Rafael Mandelman, President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, wearing a faux white fur by Banana Republic. DJ Sergio Fedasz’s music and The GLIDE Memorial Choir perfectly complemented the runway action. The evening raised $20,000 benefiting San Francisco Pride and GLIDE.
This was the second year of the successful event, formerly known as Threads of Pride and originated by Dr. Nas Mohamed. Contreras is Banana Republic’s National Style Expert and brought together many local leaders of the Bay Area fashion world for this year’s fundraiser, emceed skillfully by Nguyen Pham, and that was also attended by San Francisco Pride Executive Director Suzanne Ford.
